Distances
From Milazzo (the nearest harbour to the Aeolian Islands, on the north coast of Sicily): you can reach Filicudi by
ferry or hydrofoil. There are several trips a day all year round.
From Reggio Calabria and Messina: there are several hydrofoil trips a day all the year-round, with some stops
in the other islands.
From Napoli (change in Salina or Lipari): By ferry, with Siremar, twice a week in the winter and up to 6 trips in
the summer; by hydrofoil, Ustica Lines, once or twice a day, only in the summer (10 June/20 Sept.), stopping in
Lipari.

For example, to see the Archaeological Museum which houses one of the most important archaeological collections in the world. Among the objects of greatest interest, the collection of comedy masks, the works of the unknown “painter of Lipari” and the various artifacts found in the sea or the Archaeological Park of Contrada Diana where the vestiges of the Lipari town are preserved starting from the Neolithic. Among other things, the remains of the Greek fortifications and the hypogea from the Roman era.
