Even if it is not an old dammuso anyway it shows and reproduces at best the characteristics of typical architectures, vaulted ceilings, the “alcova”, the outside lava stone. The interior of the holiday accommodation has been thought to accord the plan of the traditional dammuso, made of a big middle room lived as living room – kitchen, a double bedroom, a second chamber situated in the alcove with a sofa bed for 2 people and a bathroom with shower.
The most charming place is surely the large terrace with “cannizzato” roof of more than 45 square meters. with large sofas and relaxing areas.
The pool
The dammuso pool is the true harbor of harmony and quietness of the villa, its form is oval with a bottom-like beach and a length of over 10 meters. Permit the bath to children and adults as well, the deepest part reaches a depth of 1.80 m. its side cascade looking towards the sea gives a sight of unique charm and relaxation.

On the island of Pantelleria live 7.600 inhabitants in Trapani province, named the Mediterranean “black pearl”. The town is located 47 km from Sicily and only 37 km from Africa. This strong and intense island holds a volcanic origin. The town area is enlarged from sea level to a height of 836 metres on the Montagna Grande (big mountain). An island full of natural beauties among which the crystalline sea easily reachable through smooth slopes (some harder) among which, not to be missed, the Balata dei Turchi, Martingana, L’arco dell’ Elefante and Cala Levante. It would be nice to rent out a rubber dinghy or agree to the several boats going around visiting the island to admire the wonderful places that cannot be seen except for a boat. Another important place you should see is the Montagna Grande (big mountain) and the several archeologic sites placed in the “Sesi” landscape: a village located in the south-west of the island where there are the chieftains and dignitaries tombs made of lava-stone big blocks with majestic civilization remains.
