- About Pantelleria
Overview
Pantelleria is an island with a wild nature where the Arab dominations have left an indelible trace including the typical Dammuso building with stone walls up to two meters thick. The Dammuso Levante is a few steps from the sea (about 70 meters), located in an ancient fishing village (called Cala Levante) which was then transformed into a tourist place (thanks also to famous people who have made their summer residence there).
In the immediate vicinity there is another cove called Tramontana which is also beautiful and characteristic, the two coves served as a shelter for fishermen and sheltered from the direction of the wind now in this hour in the other.
Details
The Dammuso has a veranda with a gazebo overlooking the sea which is about 70 meters away and which enjoys a unique view and an internal courtyard of about 25 square meters equipped with a shower, lava stone barbecue, and laundry. The Dammuso (contrary to its nature) offers large spaces and numerous comforts and finely furnished in shabby style, it is equipped with a large kitchen equipped with: large fridge, microwave oven, coffee machine, dishwasher, electric oven, and 4 burner stove. A large living room with air-conditioned TV and wi-fi, two bedrooms (also air-conditioned) with royal dammuso roofs, while one of them has a window overlooking the sea, the other overlooks the internal veranda, both equipped with large wardrobes built-in and memory mattresses for a comfortable rest. Then private parking (which is not common).
